Ana McNamara is a dedicated litigation attorney with over 22 years of experience. She has successfully represented individuals and corporate clients in matters ranging from breach of contract, fraud and personal injury matters, to divorce, business disputes, unsuitable trading by a broker, slander of title, and injunctions/temporary restraining orders. Her diverse business experience, which includes holding a real estate broker license and trading commodities futures contracts in the trading pits of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, enables her to better understand and serve her clients. To date, Ms. McNamara has never lost a jury trial. Highly competitive, she has been described as a strategically aggressive adversary and formidable opponent in the courtroom.
Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. McNamara practiced litigation with a national law firm based in the Sears (Willis) Tower in Chicago, Il. Ana has also served as a felony prosecutor who, in 2018, made the bold and unorthodox move of aggressively questioning three Police Officers during a reckless homicide trial, exposing the fact the officers let an intoxicated off-duty paramedic get back into his vehicle to kill two people an hour later in a head-on collision. The trial received a significant amount of press. She is a graduate of the rigorous six month MAAC Firefighter Training Academy in Valparaiso, Indiana and a Certified Firefighter (Firefighter I and II Certifications) and has served as a volunteer firefighter. Ana is also a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice, and was appointed and served as an arbitrator for Cook County's Mandatory Arbitration Program.
When she's not practicing law, Ana's hobbies include travel, cooking, gardening, scuba diving, and spending time on Lake Michigan. Currently, she is studying for her private pilot license (PPL).
