Benjamin R C Ignacio focuses on criminal defense and personal injury cases. He has dedicated his career to representing individual persons, not governments, law enforcement, or big corporations.

 

Born in Manila, Philippines, but was raised since the age of 4 in a bilingual home (Tagalog, English) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mr. Ignacio graduated from Iolani School in 1985, and then received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1989 from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., focusing on National Security Studies. He received his law degree in 1992 from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. At Notre Dame Law School Mr. Ignacio also trained at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), based in South Bend.

 

Mr. Ignacio has 25 years of legal experience in the field of criminal defense and he has handled all manner of cases, including jury trials in federal and state courts. The charges in his cases have ranged from murder to white collar crime, and many other areas as well.

 

Mr. Ignacio speaks conversational Filipino (Tagalog), and has been certified as proficient in the Russian language. His articles on legal issues have appeared in the Fil-Am Courier and he has spoken on legal topics on KNDI radio.
