Ms. Denson graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University, and later, magna cum laude from Tulane Law School. While at Tulane Law she was a managing editor of the Tulane Law Review and was awarded the honor of membership in the Order of the Coif because she graduated in the top 3% of her class. After graduating from law school, Mrs. Denson served as a clerk for the Honorable John Conery in Franklin, Louisiana before relocating to New York City where she worked as a public defender and a child protective services attorney.

In 2015, Ms. Denson moved to Colorado, where she joined the prestigious firm of Killmer, Lane & Newman, LLP as an Associate Attorney, litigating a wide array of civil rights and employment discrimination matters in federal and state court. Ms. Denson then joined the firm of Benezra & Culver, where she continued to represent employees and individuals whose civil rights had been violated. In 2018, Mrs. Denson returned home to New Orleans and established Casey Denson Law, LLC.

 

Ms. Denson has represented has successfully represented clients from diverse backgrounds with complicated legal situations. Ms. Denson is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, the Colorado State Bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, Western District of Louisiana, and the Middle District of Louisiana.

 

Ms. Denson is the Chair of the Civil Rights Committee of the New Orleans Bar Association. She is also a co-founder, and former chair, of the Plaintiff’s Employment Law Association of Louisiana, and a member of National Employment Law Association, the National Police Accountability Project, TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund, the Louisiana State Bar Association and its Labor and Employment Section, and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
