My great grandfathers homesteaded in Montana in the late 1800s, one in Winnett and the other near Denton in central Montana. A Montana native, I spent the early years of my legal career working in Philadelphia at a large firm with over 500 lawyers, where I represented Fortune 50 financial organizations and insurance companies in addition to individuals. This type of training and experience in a variety of areas gives me insight and knowledge I bring with me wherever my career takes me.

I returned to Montana in 2014 after 14 years in Philadelphia. Practicing law in Bozeman has provided me an opportunity to pursue a passion – defending civil rights. In addition, I have been a pioneer in the new legal terrain of medical marijuana business law. At Young Law Office PLLC, I help my community by providing honest legal counsel to the good people of Montana.

Whether you are interested in starting a dispensary or you have questions about the business you are currently running, it's important that you work with a knowledgeable and seasoned attorney. At Young Law Office PLLC, I offer clients the insight and experience you need to ensure your business is and remains compliant with the ever-changing Montana medical marijuana laws. I am acknowledged as one of the few lawyers who are well-versed in the practice of medical marijuana compliance. I have presented seminars to other lawyers and participated in a panel discussion at the first Montana Medical Marijuana Convention in 2018.
