Dan McInerny is a partner in the Environmental Law and Agribusiness Groups, and has been a practicing attorney since 1984. Dan concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental, natural resources and agricultural law, and also has an extensive background in Indiana administrative law. His experience includes representing clients in property transfers; air permits and enforcement; RCRA, CERCLA and remediation; Brownfields and Comfort Letters; DNR permitting and enforcement; and NEPA. Dan also represents clients in a variety of water issues, including NPDES permits; groundwater and surface water resources; stormwater and wastewater infrastructure and construction; Clean Water Act compliance; wetlands, streams and floodway permits; and Indiana Water Rights law.
A graduate of Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, he received his J.D. and a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from that institution. Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans, Dan served as a deputy attorney general, representing the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the Department of Natural Resources and the Indiana State Department of Health.
