Dan Morgan was admitted to the State Bar of Montana in 1995, and joined Montana’s federal bar and Bankruptcy Section in 1996, mostly representing debtors in Chapter 7 and 13 cases across the state.As a co-founder of Morgan Pierce, PLLP in 2007, Dan has expanded his caseload to include creditor rights and Chapter 11 issues. During 25 years of service to Montanans, Dan has educated other Montana lawyers through presentations and lectures at Continuing Legal Education courses.In 2019 and 2020, the US News & World Report's publication, The Best Lawyers in America included Dan, and in 2020, Best Lawyers named Dan as the 2020 Lawyer of the Year for Bankruptcy in Missoula.Prior to attending law school at the University of Montana, Dan was a sports journalist in Maryland and in Montana. He and Rachel have four kids and four pets to keep them busy outside of work.
