Jennifer Nichols Ferguson is an experienced personal injury lawyer who is well-respected within the Maine legal community. A long-time resident of Lewiston, ME, she has been with Fales & Fales, P.A. since 1989. She has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for her clients through effective settlement negotiations and strategic trial representation.

As a result of Jennifer’s experience and reputation, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court has appointed her to serve on a number of its committees. Trusting her professional integrity and broad litigation experience, other attorneys  regularly call on Jennifer to serve as a private arbitrator or mediator for their clients’ legal disputes. Jennifer’s legal ability, her involvement in the legal profession, and her case results make her one of the most highly-respected personal injury lawyers in the Lewiston area.

Jennifer attended college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with honors in 1978. After moving to Maine, she enrolled at the University of Maine School of Law in 1980.  While in law school, Jennifer served as the Articles Editor for the University of Maine Law Review. She graduated cum laude in 1983. She was admitted to practice law in the Maine State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maine later that year.

Upon graduating from law school, Jennifer enjoyed the privilege of clerking for a year for the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. She subsequently entered private practice, and eventually joined Fales & Fales, P.A. Today, she owns the firm with her husband,  Anthony K. Ferguson, who joined the firm in 1986.
