Kenneth C. Gobetz joined The Firm in 1993 and has played influential role in its thriving success. Mr. Gobetz was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1984. From 1984 through 1985, he was the law clerk for the Hon. Philip R. Miller of the United States Claims Court (now the Court of Federal Claims). From 1985 until February 1993, he was an attorney for the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division.
Mr. Gobetz focuses his practice on litigation and tax law. Consistent with his prior experience, he regularly represented clients before the IRS and NYS Department of Taxation & Finance. Mr. Gobetz represents publicly held corporations, small privately held businesses and individuals in mediation, appeals, arbitration and trial proceedings.
