Norman J. Younker works exclusively in the area of plaintiff’s tort law, where he represents individuals in medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death actions, including claims involving brain damage and spinal cord injury. Prior to joining Younker Hyde Macfarlane, he represented Intermountain Health Care and other defendants in medical malpractice actions. Norm has served as president of the Utah Association for Justice (formerly the Utah Trial Lawyer’s Association) and is currently on the organization’s board of governors. In cases involving complex litigation, Norm is able to team with Younker Hyde Macfarlane attorneys with expertise in the firm’s areas of core competency. He received his law degree from Brigham Young University, where he graduated cum laude. He later did post-doctoral studies in law at Cambridge University, England. Norm earned his bachelor’s degree at Utah State University where he graduated magna cum laude. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Utah and Arizona as well as the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
