Peter J. Timbers was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin, and grew up throughout the Midwest. He attended Indiana University, obtaining an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, with a minor in Mathematics. He furthered his Chemistry education at the University of Colorado, obtaining a doctorate degree in Physical Chemistry. After graduate school, he worked as a chemist/scientist at several Department of Energy sites, including at the Rocky Flats, Idaho National Energy Laboratory, and Hanford facilities. Additionally, he has chemical and engineering experience as an explosives chemist for Orica, USA, and electrophotographic engineer for Kentek Information Systems. In 2003, Mr. Timbers went to law school in order to litigate and practice civil litigation, including intellectual property law. In 2006, he graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Peter has been admitted into the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Wyoming State Bar, and the North Carolina State Bar (currently inactive status in N.C.).

 

Peter currently practices workers’ compensation litigation, both plaintiff and defense civil litigation, intellectual property litigation, and patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and federal criminal law.

 

Peter Timbers is married and has five sons. All five sons are judoka and the three youngest are currently in the Mandarin Dual Language Immersion Program at Paradise Valley School in Casper, Wyoming. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially walking with his wife and taking time to read/research, hunt and fish.
