Walid Fakhoury was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in 2010 by The American Trial Lawyers Association. He was named the 2002 Lawyer of the Year by Michigan Lawyers Weekly, because of his professional demeanor, legal ability and integrity. Mr. Fakhoury has been named Michigan Super Lawyer every year since the magazine was published. He has also been listed in “Outstanding Lawyers of America”. Mr. Fakhoury was also appointed Magistrate of the 52nd District Court in 1989 as the youngest Magistrate in U.S. history.

 

Mr. Fakhoury consistently helps clients achieve multimillion dollar settlements and verdicts. Mr. Fakhoury is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. In 2006, he obtained a settlement of $2,000,000.00, the ninth-highest settlement ever agreed on in the State of Michigan. Also in 2006, he also obtained the tenth highest verdict of $1,600,000.00 in a wrongful-death action. In 2003, Mr. Fakhoury won a $3,800,000.00 judgment in a rape case involving an 11-year-old charter school student.

 

Wally has 25 years of experience in personal injury law and is recognized as a leader among his peers. Over the years, he has tried over sixty cases to verdict, including a 2002 verdict of $15 million. Mr. Fakhoury is very involved with civil litigation matters, acting as an arbitrator and facilitator. He also serves as a case evaluator in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties in southeastern Michigan. Mr. Fakhoury has dedicated his entire legal career to helping the severely injured and their families in obtaining justice and closure.
