Mr. Shanaberger is a litigator with 30 years of experience in many areas. He has focused on trust and estate work, and probate litigation since he joined the firm in 2018, and enthusiastically embraced the work of protecting the disadvantaged, fighting for the rights of beneficiaries and advising fiduciaries (personal representatives, trustees, guardians and conservators) to ensure that they fulfill their duties effectively and efficiently. Mr. Shanaberger is a skilled negotiator as well as a fiercely effective litigator.

 

Mr. Shanaberger graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1988, and graduated with a bachelor of science in Public Law and Government from Eastern Michigan University in 1985. While in law school, he acted as Chairman of the Moot Cout Board for two years and was a member of the Moot Court Tax Team. He also interned for U.S. Magistrate Carr, with a focus on prisoner pro se litigation. Mr. Shanaberger has practiced nationally and internationally throughout his career, and has been a partner in s mall and medium-sized firms, including his own firm. He has handled a wide variety of complex corporate and commercial litigation matters.
